ABOUT
ME
I am a Bay Area local with over 10 years of experience helping people, as a therapist, caregiver, mentor, and teacher. I work with people of all ages through difficult and exciting life changes, including trauma, disability, addiction, struggles in primary relationships, early parenthood, family conflict and change, caregiving, exploration of gender and sexuality, and more. I’m also a sister, mother, neuroscience nerd, compulsive journal writer, bicycler, and very slow reader.
I am deeply committed to social justice and honoring the differences that make us who we are.

THE PROCESS
I will help you to connect with yourself and other people, in times of commitment, boredom, trouble, confusion, or celebration. If you wish to investigate a difficult past along the way, I will be with you; that decision is yours. I work with the inner parts of my clients when they are in conflict in order to restore peace. Neuroscience taught me that the brain and body are one, and tuning in to somatic (body) experience is one way I work, whether indoors or out, writing or reenacting, meditating or "just" talking. I meet you where you are, and together we find a way forward. This is true whether you are 8, 18, or 8o.
